Membership Madness!

TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More – That's why, from March 1 to April 15, The IIA will be celebrating Membership Madness – and you are invited to catch the recruitment wave and join us as we grow The Institute and your chapter.

The chapter with the most referred members wins a free, one-day seminar, and your new members will receive a reduced membership rate of US $85 (a US $30 savings off normal registration rates) and an application fee waiver (an additional savings of US $25)

Membership — A Partnership for Success

The Institute of Internal Auditors is the primary international association for the profession. Your membership enables you to share in the collective wisdom of more than 115,000 members in 165 countries and territories. As a member, you help to build a stronger future for yourself and the profession.

IIA members come from a wide variety of public and private sectors, which include agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; mining; contract construction; manufacturing; transportation, communications, and utility services; wholesale and retail trade; financial, insurance, and real estate; services; education; and government. Regardless of where you joined and where you are based, you are a member of The IIA global organization. As a member you can take advantage of a range of membership benefits.

IIA Affiliates

In addition to your global benefits and services, when you join through an IIA affiliate, you will benefit from local activities, programs and networking opportunities. Members within the United States, Canada, and Caribbean nations participate in The IIA through local chapters. Members outside these areas participate through affiliated chapters and institutes. If you are located in a country where The IIA has not yet established an affiliate, you can still benefit from global membership by joining as a member at large.

Chapters and institutes (referred to as IIA affiliates) hold regular meetings, seminars, and district and regional conferences that encourage members to network with peers, develop professional contacts, and stay on top of current issues and practices. Special Membership

Sections To take your IIA membership to new levels of special expertise, take advantage of The IIA's special membership sections. Open to IIA members only, participation in one of these sections gives you benefits beyond your basic membership. IIA members may join a section at any time during their membership term, and new members may join with their initial application. If you plan to join an affiliate outside of Canada, Caribbean or USA, you can enroll in a membership section once your affiliate registers your membership with global headquarters. Section fees are in addition to membership dues.
