facility showing the Pathway to Progress leading to the entrance. |
The IIA is currently building a new 36,000 square foot business and
communications facility in Altamonte Springs, Florida that will support The Institute and
its members and further elevate our profession.
Donating bricks in memory of beloved members is a wonderful way to memorialize those
who have given much to their Chapter and the profession. When a memorial brick is
purchased, the family will receive a certificate depicting the personalized inscription
that appears on their loved ones brick in the Pathway to Progress
at the entrance of this new headquarters facility.
The Dallas Chapter would like to purchase a 12" × 12" brick in the Pathway
to Progress in memory of long-time Dallas Chapter member Aaron C. Saylors,
who passed away January 4, 2001.
Aaron had been a member of the IIA and Dallas Chapter since 1971. In his 30 years of
service to the Institute and Chapter, Aaron served in numerous positions, including
Chapter President for the 1978 - 1979 term. He was on the Chapter's Board of
Governors and was also the Honorary Chairman for the IIA's 57th International Conference
held in Dallas in 1998. Most recently, Aaron received the 2000 Chairman's Award
for Exceptional Volunteer Leadership. For more on Aaron's contributions to the Dallas
Chapter and the IIA, read the nomination submitted in March 2000 for
this distinguished service award.
The price of the 12" × 12" Diamond Level Brick in the Pathway to Progress is
$500. If you would like to make a donation to cover a portion of the brick's price,
indicate your intentions below and click "Send." Please ensure
your donation is received by Corinne Bryan at the address provided no later than
